Does alcohol consumption create temporary brain changes similar to that of a reptilian brain?

Does alcohol consumption create temporary brain changes similar to that of a reptilian brain?

Is there scientific evidence that alcohol consumption creates brain processes that are similar to a reptilian brain.?  To figure that out we would need to electrically map a reptilian brain, a healthy human brain and an alcohol users brain.  To be noted would be the path of electrical synapses.
