So lets say that you say some form of hate speech. And it is a felony if some conditions are met?
A felony is a serious crime.
So in effect the person you said it to views it as a very serious crime. And that causes violence against you?
Right there I believe is the grounds to strike down those Bush Republican Laws.
Because the person you said it to views it very serious, they commit violence against you because they believe it is an equal offense?
They are not an equal offense.
No I can see if you are walking around easy like and somebody beats you up, doesn't even know you, and also yells hateful things at you, that is ...
Well, the law should just apply to the violence that caused physical harm.
Now, sure the sentencing could take into account the hate speech.
So we got weak on some laws implementation and therefore rights are infringed because of it?
When your rights are infringed for the benefit of those who can't meet a standard?
Equality implies that you can meet a standard.
