That doesn't organize your data so that you can use it better, but rather organizes your data so that whoever created the software can better steal that data.
An here is something about intellectual property?
(Is all art really based on prior art?)
Is some of your data or intellectual data property being washed and reused just like how a hand written monetary check is washed and reused?
I would argue it is. Very hard to prove. But I know it is true. And it is part of a very bad pattern.
