One would believe that the technology exists today so that if someone sent a text to your landline instead of your cell phone that you could still receive that information somehow.
1. Perhaps, auto converted to an email and sent to you via email? Simple enough.
2. Perhaps just goes to a website address like how online emails are?
3. Perhaps the land line service just bumps it to your cell phone per your instruction and choice set?
So why isn't it that way? So that drug dealers who used texting and cells could proliferate and not get caught as easy, perhaps originally?
