I wonder how many clerks that have an apathetic or gruff attitude figure out that if the customer doesn't have a great experience shopping at their store, that that store could go out of business and they will end up being out of a job?
I think an employee with an attitude has a hard time figuring that out?
And that business goes belly up, then the neighborhood suffers too!
And then people wonder why they can't get groceries close to their home?
But do you know what? Sometimes how an employee feels about customers is how a bad employer feels about them; transferred to them?
And a customer really doesn't like to see an employee being berated over nothing! A customer also doesn't like to see an employee being insulted by management.
So indeed, where we live and work.
