So you pass a drivers test and that means you are good enough to drive.
But what if you are a repetitive drunk driver. Are you good enough to drive? I would think no.
Now I really don't want to be the guy that suggests taking away peoples rights. But when there is something very important that isn't being recognized in the world perhaps the issue of good enough to drive gets brought up?
Is a pedophile good enough to drive? I would say no!
Is a pimp good enough to drive? I would say no.
Is a drug dealer good enough to drive? I would say no.
The point perhaps is where does someone who chose a low life form of life have to go? Who does someone like that have to meet with? Who enjoys working alongside people like that? Who wants that rubbing off on them? Who needs to have that extra guard up all the time?
*****'
And perhaps I bring it up because of the quality of cars. How quickly they end up in the junk yard. How expensive they are and who can afford them that shouldn't even be driving one? How much scientifically measurable carbon/pollution is in the atmosphere that shouldn't be there.
And when you look at the scope of a human trafficking ring, don't you say those are a lot of cars going to pick up and drop off people that shouldn't be doing that?
So in general perhaps it is this? "Did this person use a car to facilitate a crime?"
I am not a gun control person. I believe that you are either in prison and not have a gun in there. (unless you are the only non homosexual in there perhaps, stole of loaf of bread to feed your family and ended up in there) or you are free to walk among and your gun rights resume upon walking out the front door of the prison.
I like this question better, "Did this person use a car to facilitate a crime? (or a whole fleet of them?) A crime unrelated to a driving infraction?
Perhaps if someone is drunk that should be a crime? Then you split the issue? But you would have police officers standing outside of the bar at night with breathalyzers? And the tavern business would go to ghost town? I am all for anything that makes those who attained wealth by causing and facilitating mental retardation losing that wealth!
