Why does the Bible say it so many times?
Because if you are afraid they want you to pick up that Bible and read that you should not be afraid.
And then come to Church and put money in the coffer?
Certain things you should be afraid of. Like if you had to many drinks and think you are going to drive a car? Certain things you should be afraid of- hat might be thought of as personal development. Not overcoming your fears. But developing to be a responsible adult so that you have earned knowledge that you can apply in confidence. An engineer looks at a building plan, does he say, I will just have faith this is correct? No, he addresses risk, an element related to fear.

Did you ever see a bumbling fool as a leader. And a lot of people like him. And you ask yourself what would be the detriment to our Democracy if there were one thousand just like him in high levels of responsibility? You might have shrugged it off, thought, oh the checks and balances of the people below him will be there to right things? But what if that really isn't true. What if below him are 1000 ignorant people just like him?
