A Successful Outcome is Considered 07 24 2024

So I just read a newspaper article that was about Government programs for problem children.  It mentioned that a stay in a state mental hospital for them costs $1300 a day.  It mentioned that during covid some went with their parents to work?  How their behavior degraded.  How some of these programs had nice activities for them to partake in.  How they were assigned an adult?  How the money got cut because it was cut from Medicaid.

Well all well and good.  But did you ever ask yourself what is considered to be a successful outcome for them?  Is it considered to be a successful outcome if they become an adult and have children themselves?

So, you actually expect that somehow a child who had perhaps 21 years of problems is going to be able to raise children on their own?  Somehow they have seen the light?  Somehow their lives will be problem free and so will their children.  Beautiful if true.  But does empirical evidence point to it being blatantly false?  That what we are facing today are compounded problems of this very nature?

Somehow even though they had all those behavior problems for 21 years they were able to learn exactly what someone who was able to sit still listen and learn did?  I am not that naive.

I think people want you to believe a successful outcome is someone like that having children of their own?  That a successful outcome is in conjunction with no abortions either?
