So the idea that is, instead of having heard immunity they have herd intelligence?
Not sure how to articulate that.
But whatever herd intelligence is it is not of the academic standards we need for success in this country.
Perhaps it has to do with a popular leader and everyone who worships that leader repeats idioms?
It makes you wonder if the word idiom is disambiguated from idiot. And the word heard is disambiguated from herd.
But this definition ought to make you chuckle.
An idiom is:
"a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g. over the moon, see the light)." From microsoft search results. what is an idiom - Search
So indeed, someone that speaks in sentences where the meaning is not deducible from the individual words? Someone that answers questions where the meaning in completely irrelevant to the question.
Do you see why I ask if idioms was disambiguated from idiots?
A herd that speaks and thinks in idioms that they heard?
You have the basis for a comedic novel right there. But that satire would be extremely powerful! So no one who can write something like that is allowed to.
