Melon Seeds 08 22 2026

These came out of a type of honey dew melon.

1. You rinse the seeds out in water and strain them.

2. Place them on tinfoil and toaster mwave broiler tray.

3. Add perhaps 1/2 t salt 2 T avocado oil.

4. Broil for perhaps 3 min at a time. Stir. Perhaps 3 times.  Don't let them burn.

They taste a lot like pumpkin seeds.

I probably got $2.50 worth of good eating seeds out of that grocery store melon!  Probably high in Zinc.

I believe that was a Santa Claus melon also known as Piel De Sapo melon.
