Lets say that you become a highly successful character actor.
And yet, people can't stand the sight of you.
That might be a source of an emotional problem for you.
******'
To me that would seem like an unresolvable emotional problem!
But how do people like that adapt?
That personality bobs and weaves doesn't it!
In effect valuing that ugliness.
So in general, a life coping strategy for some might be, to value your own ugliness.
To create value through your own ugliness!
And then promote that ugliness as value.
So that people who see you have no valid reason not to be able to stand the sight of you???????????
But wait, they might like you less because of that!
Then what do you do?
I would say the best thing for you would be to withdraw from the public eye.
Hence such a person would have to back off from the idea that their own ugliness has realizable value.
