So some are not getting back into the country when their visa expires; as the least not immediately.
But that brings up an important question? Why aren't they hiring American men as Priests?
1. Because they don't want to hire "men" for the job?
2. Because no "men" want the job?
It takes away legitimacy of the church to hire men? There is more legitimacy seen if someone with a foreign accent is hired? Somehow it increases the belief?
So I worked in Chicago circa 1992. As t a pretty high up place. The secretary of the President of the company I worked for told me all Catholic priests were openly gay at parties.
So I can easily see how men are quickly weeded out of the priesthood. No man would want to try and fit in with that pier group. No man would want to cow tow to that. But what it really suggests is complete illegitimacy.
I don't like to have to write these things. But I have a civic responsibility to do so. Ask yourself who I am fighting for.
