If that were true Jesus Christ would not have needed to teach us how to drive demons out of someone by looking them in the eye and stating, "In the name of Jesus Christ Satan be gone." (That is just per my memory)
But look at the interchange here! In this link! They got into it didn't they! Each declaring the other was able to cast out demons because they were indeed the demon! Wow! Very prophetic!
And there is also a bit of unrealized history there isn't there! Jesus said they were doing the same thing, casting out demons too! It is in this paraphrase quoted meaning from that link, "If you say that I cast them out by...then who do you say you are casting them out by???
