Whoa I got to tell you. I took a bag of carrots in a pot with just enough water to cover them plus a little more. Pinch of salt. Started a boil and then turned to lowest setting. Drained the water later, when soft. Then added a little brown sugar, maybe a pinch of allspice and...sesame seed oil. Not much, couple t's or a T. Trying to get away from butter. But they were great. But the residue of that, while I was cleaning the pot right now had a really unique candy flavor. Very interesting.
The rice was 3 different types bought in one packet. And that was really good to.
