Mandatory Drug Testing in order to comply with School Voucher Program 05 28 2019
I believe that the voucher program will be phased out. But until that happens I think it would be responsible to have mandatory drug testing of Voucher Program students.
Why? Because people who live in that neighborhood might not want those drugs brought into it?
Because the general taxpayer is paying for it, hence the standard should be raised.
Because the taxpayer does not pay to foster increased drug usage in his neighborhood?
Because private schools often have a religious basis and drugs should have no part of that.
But that wouldn't be fair to the general student body would it. So indeed you would have to test all kids in public schools for drugs too. And what happens when you find that pot in their urine?
How about a mandatory 1 full grade point deduction for the year.
Right?
Was that a young person that was really serious about going to college?
Do colleges really want to deal with that drug element? I would say no.
And what of the parents that make a donation to the college charity and mysteriously their candidate child gets admitted? Well perhaps it won't be as easy to accomplish that? Someone who doesn't have academic merit to get into college through donation? And what does that donation amount to? It is BRIBERY isn't it. Why mince words? Why not just say it like a man would? That the structure is in place so that parents can legally bribe a college in order to get their child admitted?
Isn't that just as bad as the alderman who accepts money so that he will vote to have a seedy strip club allowed in his neighborhood?

I have to wonder if I get the same newspaper as everyone else? I took my mother to the emergency room and I said, "We are not going to be turned away are we?"
"Oh no, that is illegal!"
"Our doors are always open."
"Where did you hear that?",,,"I read it the paper about a week or two ago." "Really? What paper?"

And that isn't exactly pier pressure you are facing at that stage in the workplace is it. It is something far worse. It amounts to the activity of organized crime and racketeering.
And so what if I burned a lot of bridges. Hey my father crossed the bridge at Remagen as a Combat Medic. What did you father do? Smoke a pipe? Suck the wine bottle? Tell arrogant jokes and act like he was Hugh Hefner?
