"Abnormally Jealous"
When someone is far more jealous than a human being should be about someone else?
It really isn't about the person they are jealous of.
It is really a strong indication that in some way they themselves are abnormal, hence the state of being abnormally jealous.
I think that this is the crux of both a lot of issues and problems in our society today but also I think it is a concept that never is really reflected and documented in world history?
Perhaps an instance of this is constantly insulting someone in hopes that it mitigates or lessens the reasons you have to be jealous of them? That really isn't a form of competition. And least not how I see it. Perhaps there are competitions whereby it comes into play as part of it? But I would categorize those as being unfair types of competitions? And what does it means to say that you won in an unfair competition by lesser standards? In other words to win by not competing on the standard level you are supposed to? And ask yourself who would create a framework that would make that possible?
