Should a teacher have to pay property taxes that go to funding the education system? 08 25 2020
Let's apply Republican Business logic to prove whether it is true or not. We, in Wisconsin, gave a Chinese corporation the promise of no taxes if they created labor. Was it to the tune of $3 Billion dollars? That is a lot of money.
In fact "we" often give businesses tax breaks with the stated reason it benefits us and attracts new talent to our state or country.
Wouldn't it keep better teachers in your neighborhood or attract better ones if they did not have to pay property taxes to fund their own pay in education? Get it? Well pay you to teach our kids but you have to pay part of your own salary too for the effort? Doesn't really give a teacher the sense of esteem they should have in our land of the free and home of the brave?
Now lets say that you have your own school of thought? What does it mean? A school has students. A mind is what thinks. The one in question is yours. Possessive, it belongs to you. Should it also mean what the above paragraphs means? I think it should.
So indeed in life, in order to be happy, you need to be able to make decisions freely based on what you believe in. Think about it.
