Sports Team Owners 02 21 2025

If sports team owners were required to live in the state of the teams that they owned wouldn't it somehow be better for that state?

Somehow, wouldn't more money be kept in that state and be thought of as being used for the purposes of that state?

I mean that is a key Republican defense, "Let the States decide."  Essentially it advocates more power to the states?  That or it is a subversive attempt to undo our union and democracy by the, "they know not what they do?"

But it would mean more power to the state, wouldn't it?  How can you argue it wouldn't mean that?

Empowering States.

But the thing is that laws are expected to be Universal to the States unless there is something unique about a state.  And I wouldn't call birth rate a state problem it is a national leadership and allocation problem.  You don't want one state being the wild child in the wrong direction from the Constitutional values, that throws the other states and unions in disarray.

You know I had a childhood friend.  I won't tell you his religion.  But we got into an argument.  And perhaps we were in the second grade.  And his favored form of Government was Parliament.  And I was shocked.  A lot of things Republicans do seem to have that same shock value?  And I really don't think it is intentionally attempting to down our Democracy.  It is more or less like they just get some vibe and go with it and they really don't know where it comes from.  You know that really sums it up doesn't it?

And after the people who have made all the changes exit stage left or right we are back to being a colony of a dictator, monarch, self declared God, Slavery, etc, etc, poor, no freedom, no chance for betterment, denied education, denied books, denied tools only a highly paid blacksmith will have them.

But some of the things Trump does I like.  I really don't see how a structure of institutional based corruption benefits me.  And perhaps everyone who is being fired left and right is a good person for all i know.  Perhaps they are bad.

And are we going to get to the point whereby a Corporation being seen as a legal person, takes and initiates writs, etc, etc etc?  Kind of like how the Queen hired pirates and called them something else to make them seem legal?

What am I getting at?  Seeing through it?  What does it represent?

When you can't agree or don't want people to agree on matters that might benefit everyone it means you don't want to benefit the people of your country?  See how it is a disconnect?

It is like going to Rome and being swindled by Roman numerals?  Every state having a unique set of rules?  Best not go anywhere.  Best stay in one place and be tormented by the griffin on the wind vane?

"Let the States decide."  That is really deceitful isn't it!  It is filled with at least one hidden false premise?  That whatever issue there is a question on is to complex or difficult for one single leader to make a judgement on? When in reality it isn't like that to a rational mind.  And our Constitution wants there to be a Union of States, which means a unified legal system and not one that is by a divine right kingsman?

"Let the States decide because nobody knoeds the answer."

Off topic.  The Republicans don't like free renewable energy.  They like to own oil wells and pump it from the ground and charge us an arm and a leg.  And when you talk about how powerful solar energy is they will say that our grid can't handle it.  Well I have the perfect response to that!

What if gambling and prostitution in Las Vegas Nevada were made illegal and it was instead of...instead of such a bright city from all the neon lights...so bright that it can be seen/ discerned from outer space...

....which means what?  That there is a grid that can handle a lot of distribution of electricity for the benefit of what? Pagan profits?  It means such a grid exists already....but again...what if that city where turned off and more or less replaced with solar panels.

Instead of being a consuming vortex of electricity it becomes a power producing distribution center???

And indeed some ancient texts tell of a great war between the sons of light and the sons of darkness.  And that the sons of darkness won?  Sometimes I wonder if I am somehow lineage of a son of light?

I mean what is all that?  Let the states decide?  It is completely alienating, isn't it?  And the corporate structure that rewards the most god awful people around.  Again, completely alienating.

"Nobody knows the answer to that", is the implied false hidden premise in letting the States decide?

Kind of like a car recall?  "Nobody knew there was anything wrong with that car?" Oh wait this is more apropos, "Nobodies knew there was anything wrong with that car."  I could go a little further,  "When's we's sold em nobodies nude there was somtin wrong with em."
