Politics- On Health Care 06 20 2012 Health Care Should Never Be For Profit

Politics-  On Health Care 06 20 2012
Health care should never be for profit.

The United Sates has often been thought of as the wealthiest, most intelligent and highest technology country in the world so why is the quality of our health care so far down on the list you would swear we were a third world country.
The answer is very simple the for profit motivation in our health care system conflicts directly with the nature of health care.

The first line of our constitution reads its purpose as being, “Insure domestic tranquility” and “promote the general welfare.”

Health care should be populated by workers who value altruism and not money or the status of being a doctor.

Empirical evidence is often the best evidence one has, I think of it as people looking around at the ruins of an Empire the root word and  being honest with themselves for the first time in their lives when they agree on what went wrong.

So empirical evidence tells us that it is the for profit motivation of health care that has led to its demise; how do we fix this?

1.      Limit the pay to less than $400,000.00 a year for a Doctor including any emoluments.

2.      Redefine what a non-profit corporation in health care or otherwise can be to mean that revenue collected over and above a certain amount goes directly to the treasury.  It is not even a tax it just flows to the treasury via a software model.

3.      A health care business can not spend money on unnecessary costs.  All costs of what will be national nonprofit health care organization would have to be approved by the government.  Assets have to be justified which brings up the next point.

4.      Assets such as Xray Equipment, MRIs’ and Labs would be centrally located and independent of the organizations.  This would reduce costs  as health care is not to be considered for profit anymore it would mean that there is only one health care system in the country or health care organization working for the common health of the people as defined in the first line of the constitution.  (Constitutional interpretation has not followed the spirit of the constitution but rather a legalize manipulation of it to an extreme opposite intent, but that is another article.)

What have been some of the symptoms of this false health care model?

A.    Diseases defined to be something they are not in order to placate those who do not want to be financially responsible for the modern chemicals and diseases and mutations they caused.

B.     And diseases not linked to the true causes.

C.     Defining people to be something they are not in order to profit from their souls.  They greatest waste our nation has ever faced in terms of education and credit not being given where it is due and the resultant waste.

The very word profit conflicts with the inherent nature of health care- healing the sick.

You can not go to the doctor today without coming in with a typed list of all or your concerns, and even if you have that list they can pre-screen you with seven people before you talk to the doctor so that they will and ability of expressing your sickness while you are sick is lessened further.  What does this lead to in the for profit health care system?  You get to come back two, three or more times for  the same illness before it is properly addressed through modern medicine or you receive what should have been an experienced doctors insight on the first visit.

As a health care “Consumer”  I need  to know what you the Doctor knows but don’t feel is relevant to tell me.  Why?  Because this lessens my need for a second opinion or strengthens my conviction whether one is needed or not.  (“Heath Care Consumer”  who taught us to think about it that way- like it is a sure thing that we are going to live in sickness.  Give me pessimism and I give it back to you.)

So when I go to a Doctor before he quickly slips out the door without answering my question I need to hear this from him three times with any visit to any doctor.

1.      Do you have any other concerns?
2.      Do you have any other concerns?
3.      Do you have any other concerns?

A specialist Doctor should really have the ability to quickly address the more common and easy types of sickness?

I also need to hear these questions answered and addressed,

1.       Here is what you need to do.

2.      Here is what else you can do.

3.      This is every fact you need to know about the medicine I am giving you.

4.      Common complications with your illness are.

5.      Here is how you can prevent your illness or could have prevented it.

6.      Your case is this way because or in your case and this is the reason why.

What I did not mention in the above article is that for profit health care has lead to some in the medical field to be more concerned with how they can MAKE people sick.  That article is in front of the TYPEWRITER right now.
