Is Walking the Dog Really Good for You? 07 30 2021
Can I tell you what that dog "thinks" of you? It thinks that you are slower than molasses! In fact it is ashamed to be with you because you could never run as fast as it can! But that isn't the point here. But wait a little more of that. That dog hangs its head low not to smell the ground but because it is ashamed to be with a couch potato like you.
So what is this really about?
Do you ever watch someone walk the dog? What do you see? The dog wants to walk faster than the master doesn't it! In effect the dog is pulling the master along.
And what happens? Look at the knee of the person who is walking the dog? It is being hyper extended foreword isn't it! No lie! Not being un-factual at all!
Hyperextension of the knee? Very very bad for the knee.
So the question becomes, how many people who walked the dog are going to need knee surgery?
And lets say this all proves 100% accurate.
Should John Q. Public who doesn't own a dog have to pay for the knee surgery of someone that does, through Medicare or pricing differentials or profit make up by the Hospital Business Organization?
Sure they are non profits; but the top management of them own the largest homes in the upper class suburb that I still live in. Meaning what? Means they are not non profit! So off topic here. But in order to be a non profit perhaps the legislation should read that you can't earn a salary perhaps twice to poverty line from working there or owning it? I think Jimmy Carter might be in line with that conceptual framework.
Back on topic. So you inform people, smoking causes cancer and they still smoke. And we have to foot the bill for it. If you informed people that that dog pulling their knee along foreword is bad for them does that make you immune to their health care bill. I hate to quote a Republican so I won't give this one credit. But people are responsible for their own actions. And here is why I don't quote a Republican. Because to ensure that people are responsible for their own actions people need to be educated. And Republicans hate that. Why? Because it is a threat to their status quo. Upward mobility of the educated who deserve it! I mean they chew on a stick hate that! They are of the infantile self serving belief system, everything I need to know in life I learned in preschool. They don't believe it shows. But not only that they do not like the existence of anyone who can see that it shows! Satan defined.

And I meant to say from that dog strongly pulling you while you are walking the kneed is being pushed backward. Perhaps if you looked at a mechanical diagram of the bones while walking you would see that the foot would have to cock forward at an acute angle and the hips would need to go lower to the ground and also require a greater range of motion in order for that knee not to be hyperextending while walking the dog? Which is for all intents and purposes humanly impossible. (Now I am not going to get into what a great threat mass produced foreign Bipedal Armed War Robots deployed onto U.S. soil would be and how we really don't have any Constitutional Arms deployed to free U.S. Citizens to protect us from that (inevitability!)? And indeed this prophesies detracts from the key point of the article. But so what. If you believe this detracts from the message of this article perhaps there is more than one thing wrong with you.
