I want to make a point of how absolutely awful I would find a member of the health care industry to be if they took "kick backs" from a drug company for prescribing psychiatric drugs to normal children.
And sure there are some bad kids out there. Kids who would claw your eyes out if they got the chance. But that isn't what I am talking about. But what are psychiatric drugs to someone like that? Are they behavior modifiers? I doubt it. Do they allow that person to have a sense of normality? Maybe. And then what happens when someone with that false sense of normality expresses themselves or seeks positions of authority or responsibility in our democracy of the free?
And all the while along in their lives, their opinions, ideas, emotions and beliefs are subjectively modified and controlled by the prescribing Doctor? I want to say that is a golem?
I would say that you have people born with normal academic development potential and people born with mental defects. And that those born with defects are not disabled. Why not? Because they never had ability or the potential to have ability. So there is a lie there. And is it a like that the Department of Government Efficiency recognized? I doubt it.
