A little while back a law was passed whereby Doctors were not required to inform everything to their patients

A little while back a law was passed whereby Doctors were not required to inform everything to their patients.  I don't know what the status of it is today.

But I just have to ask, would we have the high rates of Autism and Mental Retardation if that law wasn't passed?

Why not?  Some women with alcoholism might have been warned about having children?  After a first retarded child was born perhaps the parents might have wised up?  If a person knew their condition might cause birth defects to the brain they might have attempted to be more responsible?

So if I want to blame those conditions on that law what does it really say about the Health Care industry in the United States?  That it is totally irresponsible and worthless.

The only reason that law was there in the first place was to hide the incompetency of Doctors.  What does it really make health care like; buying a used car.  It makes it into an insurance business whereby this isn't covered and this is because "I" am managing purse strings?
