I bought a 5 pound bag of self rising corn meal mix for $3.99 at a grocery store that sounds like it has a lumberjack carpenter type name.
I added one 15 ounce can of rinsed corn and 1/2 a green pepper chopped fine, plus pinches of spice, tumeric, cilantro, garam masala, fenugreek,...
The recipe on the bag called for an egg, all I had was hard boiled eggs so I added one to the required milk of the recipe (I substituted Oatley oat milk) and put about a half cup of the required amount of milk in the bullet grinder with the egg to make recipe, just done out of necessity)
The recipes only called for 8oz of corn but what am I going to do save or throw out a half can of corn to make a recipe properly?
Really good. If I remember the complete spices I'll tell.
Good yield and barely dented the corn meal bag.
