No Tax on Tips?10 29 2024

But pardon my elephant never forgets memory, but wasn't it Republicans who attempted to put forth some sort of legislation whereby the restaurant got the waitresses tips?  And what the restaurant shared with the waitress of those tips was their business?

Which would mean what?  Now let's say that was still in effect, if it ever was...  It would mean that the restaurant not only got the waitresses tips but they wouldn't have to pay taxes on them?

And lets say that a waitress gets a tip for $300.  But it really is payment for something else?  That would mean that the waitress would not have to declare prostitution money as any form of income?

I am not trying to insinuate this or that.  I just know how crooked people are.  And I know a pattern of behavior.  And I know a pattern of legislation.

I suppose that if you sold your waitress for sex you would never want her to get in trouble with the tax people for it?  Because then you lose your golden goose?  Do you see the opportunity for money laundering or non declaring of income by organized crime here?

Perhaps DT is trying to lure back young women voters after he was so proud to take away their right to have an abortion?

And Republicans hate birth control too?  Which means that they believe that if a Prostitute didn't have access to birth control she would have to keep those babies?  No, they don't care who gets the baby do they.  They just don't want the woman to not have it.

And the spearhead of this policy is someone who had a lot of trouble in school?

And in this day and age they expect a tip if they don't have to wait on any table! The guy giving you the white bag of food expects a tip.  The guy at the cash register expects a tip.

So you have a class of young workers who are waiters and he is attempting to make life easier for them?  But Republicans don't want to raise the minimum wage either.  I mean if you were true to the idea that you were that good person who wants people who don't make a lot make more wouldn't you be for raising the minimum wage?

On the flipside a lot of people seem unemployable to me.  Like they have some undiagnosed hyperactive disorder.  If only there were some shot developed similar to a rabies shot?  To treat that?  There isn't.  The damage is permanent.  And it erodes our Democracy.

And if he wasn't President he would be charging how much for people to rent apartments from him?

I mean look at it.  Trumps answer to housing costs is to cut regulations!  It is laughable, isn't it?

I mean pardon me for saying, but if you put the two and two together of it you get...take the waitresses tips as your own extra income and never have to pay tax on it?

I mean curmudgeon.  I don't even like the sight of a curmudgeon.
