Would be great for "shop classes". Countersink either on or two holes and assemble up, w glue.
The nail head providing increased strength as well as coaster/bumper characteristics.
Be great for a furniture assembly shop, considering tight tolerance (s).
Could also be sold with a right angle punch, the head of which encompassing the diameter of said nail, to prevent chip off.
Or could be hand pressed in and substrate clamped.
The nail could be turned from one piece wood or constructed from a dowel with a cross grain thick wood washer. Such nail head would not have to be round but could be a symbol; such as a heart, etc.© 2021 Thomas Murphy
