Let the parents decide what the teachers should be teaching?
What does that really mean?
It means that if the children can't learn the material then the parents declare it shouldn't be taught; and vital curriculum is then dropped; like reading, writing and arithmetic?
To me it looks like another attempt at instilling false confidence in those who can't learn?
Why would you ever want to do that?
That can only end up being a complete detriment to our Democracy!
That is how I read it.
Let the parents assert that their children didn't really flunk because the material being taught was up to their discretion and should not have been attempted to have been taught?
And then send the kids who can't learn, where? To military school? And look at what a problem that amounts to? Paying to have false confidence installed in that? We all pay for the liabilities they create!
