So let's look at three things and see if they add up even though they are not supposed to.
1. They widened Highway 43 going North from the Marquette Interchange to 4 lanes or are in the process of.
2. They want to increase the Sales Tax in Milwaukee, by a large number.
3. They want to completely tear down that stretch of highway that goes west from Lake Michigan/ Summerfest to the Marquette interchange? The reason they say is because they want to make that area more pedestrian?
Does any of this make sense together?
Really create the sales tax so that you can use it to fund tearing down a part of the expressway everyone loves? So that nobody can drive into Milwaukee quickly, they have to drive right by it on that new wider 4 lane highway?
Do they want to create mega luxury shopping centers there? We had the Grand Avenue and it failed miserably! We had North Ridge and it failed miserably. For the same untold reason?
And nobody wants to go back to work? Because there is something horrible, they don't want to put up with and shouldn't have to?
Do they really want to create real estate Billionaires the likes or ilk of Donald Trump from those new shade free slabs of concrete, home grown, right here in Milwaukee?
I have driven down those streets. The smartest thing that you could ever do is not drive down a street where there are tables and chairs right by the sidewalk with the ill-gotten wealthy drinking and heckling the drivers to drive in distraction.
I find the idea of that to be non-representational Government.

So I bought a $2 lottery ticket last night. The gal who sold me it said, she doesn't buy them anymore. Said they aren't selling as many as they used to despite the size of the purse. And I said, "Whoever wins that money, it isn't going to be used for anything good."

And the news is so sick and depressing! That serial killer in New York. The two boys kept in that feces home until they were 9 years old and found wandering naked in the street near State Fair Park in Milwaukee. Those demons people hear do not originate from them. Somehow a sickening genetic retardation prone to horror has gotten into the gene pool caused by alcohol. That is what I believe.

Oh and like children will then walk that area? Who are you kidding. They line up in cars to pick them up from school in the absolute safest neighborhoods when they live two blocks away.
When I was a boy, no higher than 3 feet tall, we would get on the bus, me and a friend, take it downtown to Wisconsin Avenue and go to the novelty shop where they sold hand buzzers. Or the Army Surplus shop, but I don't think they liked us in there without a parent. Or there was a mall on Downer too. The reason you can't do that today isn't going to change. Just like for your ivy league pennants you can't figure out why those two boys were locked in the house for 9 years and finally "escaped?"
