If you read their Wikipedia biographies you come to the conclusion that Gaetz didn't like McCarthy because McCarthy didn't have true good old boy loyalty.

I liked McCarthy's exit speech. Flipped cars to make money. Won 5k in lottery. Bought a sandwich making franchise. Worked hard. Ambition to get a college degree. Grandfather and immigrant.
McCarthy why didn't you call out evidence of communism in the United States?
When there is a shake up like this many more things, information, evidence, will be shaken out to public knowledge.

Also interesting, Bill Clinton, wants a more restrictive immigration policy. Thank you Bill, for not making conservative minded democrats feel out of place.
