If we are not going to have a meaningful death penalty why do we give Police Officers, who are lower level officers of that same court the right to use deadly force?
Because it was viewed as an eminent need to protect public safety.
But once that person is custody the eminent need is gone?
It is compounded if the problem and seems elemental of the Posi (sp?)Comitatus?
So all you have to do is safely catch the criminal and their threat to society is gone? That right there is evasive of the meaning of justice. It is also misleading and untrue.
So who's wishful thinking is it? The stuttering son of a drunk?
