"Wait a minute! What about life does an alcoholic have to celebrate? An alcoholic has nothing to celebrate about life, because they are an alcoholic!"
It is a disease! If you have a disease, what do you have to celebrate life about?
Many of the things that you were taught and conditioned to believe are just plain wrong!
Now let me make the case a little stronger. Alcohol is a drug.
"If you are a drug user, what do you have to celebrate about life?"
And ask yourself this. There is a dichotomy about how people think of such people? Two things they believe to be true at the same time but only one of them is true?
Look at how happy the celebrating alcoholic is? What does someone with the disease of alcohol have to celebrate about life?
What does someone who is hooked on drugs have to celebrate about their life?
Do you follow the logic?
If you were happy you wouldn't need to celebrate with something that causes an addiction with degenerative effects to your health?
So it really isn't a celebration, is it? What is that person really doing? Escaping?
And if you really earned your way in life you would have nothing that you would need to escape from!!!
There are many more corollaries and points that could be made here. But to recap.
You have nothing to celebrate about if you have alcoholism!
