If a country has gun control, how can it be said that it is any different than a penal colony?
If a country has limits to free speech, how can it be said to be any different than a penal colony?
If a country let's all criminals free from prison but will not allow them to have guns...
Do you see how soft on justice turns a thriving democracy into the equivalent of a penal colony?
Do you also see how certain forms of Government like a monarchy, socialism, communism are really the equivalent of a penal colony?
And what if a country has a very large percentage of people born with disorders and perhaps non standard sexual orientation? Could it be stated that they had too much freedom?
Very interesting point. When you give people too much freedom...like not regulating a woman to not use alcohol or drugs during pregnancy or not regulating the outcome of that...are not you really stuffing your country like it was a penal colony? In other words freedom in a democracy doesn't mean we all run around like we are freed from a penal colony and do unintelligent things that violate other people's rights. Can't figure out how your bad behavior violates my rights? Like you were elephant dropped in our Country straight out of a penal colony.
