Ransomware and Tax Evasion 01 27 2022
So somewhere in the world someone made a lot of money from ransomware. I have to wonder if you get a taxing authority on the issue if they won't be able to track it and find the criminals?
Why? So lets say the FBI can't catch them. You would think that the IRS might be able to? Or whatever foreign country taxing authority that is?
Because they have to pay tax on that income made from ransomware?
And you know what about the issue of drug dealing in the United States? You have low life's making millions. And somewhere you have kingpins making more. So why haven't they been cracked down on like Prohibition was using the IRS?
I also believe that there are other sources of income that are criminally attained.
