The body just doesn't recover like you think it would. It is like if you were to go to the gym and pump iron. What you are actually doing is breaking down muscle and rebuilding it. And do you know what can happen if you attempt to lift something really heavy, perhaps 2 hours after when recovering, perhaps 2 days, it varies per person. But at some time during recovery you might be weaker than normal, setting yourself up for injury.
It was great to watch. So confident in strength and ability. But what does that move stress, with added uniform weight, the knee joint ligament. I mean right there. You don't have to be a genius to know where that bow is going to break?
So now we know. We all learned something. Perhaps tempted hubris.
And we see an exceptional player on our team do that, we tell them not to from now on.
And I am the only one still has the cahonies to say it.
