Spaghetti Cabbage: Ingredients and Rough Cooking Instructions Included 11 08 2025

 

Ingredients, grouped:

Spaghetti: small box

Green Cabbage: Sliced to about 1/4" or less, length maintained.

Meat Pasta Sauce: larger size, was in a can

1/2 sweet onion sliced and chopped

1 Green Pepper: Chopped up good

4 Mushrooms medium

2 t fennel seed whole

1 Lb Sweet Italian Sausage

6 crackers crunched up

1/4c Croutons

Directions:

Put the spaghetti and cabbage in the same pot and add water till about an inch on top of that.

Mix the Sweet Italian Sausage, crunched crackers, crunched up croutons and fennel seed in a bowl and then loosely form it into balls and put it in a large frying pan.  Cook till meat is done and then clean the bottom of the pan with a spatula under the faucet after transferring meat to a waiting bowl.

Add your vegetables (green pepper, onion and mushroom) to the frying pan and heat for a little while.  Then add your meat back to the frying pan.  Then add the spaghetti sauce.  Heat it until it starts to bubble and stir it good with a spatula.

Strain the Spaghetti and Cabbage.

Place Spaghetti and Cabbage on a plate take the ladle add some sauce on top of that and eat it!

I mean it was really surprisingly good!  And the higher vegetable content would indeed make it healthier for you to eat!  I assert that.
