A Police Department Policy of Pandering Towards Criminal Families eventually gets the Police Officer shot by those very same families?
In effect the Police Officer becomes part of the family and as such they are a pawn in that family. And as a pawn in a criminal family they are eventually eliminated because they really aren't part of that family? In other words the criminal family mentally empowers itself by believing they are bette than everyone else in this "pruning" manner! Successfully exerting this power structure inside a democracy that has absolutely no place here.

By default if you are involved in organized crime you are not working for a living no matter if you were to chop wood for 24 hours a day seven days a week. And hence that type of person is insanely jealous of any hard working American that can think and act for themselves.
She puts her hands on her head and cries out, "This person is engaged in gainful activity and I can't stand it!"
