Did the emergence of the Kings Religion really cause WW1 and WW2?

A key tenet of that religion being a pagan idealism, "It doesn't matter what you do in life as long as at the hour of your death you ask to be saved."  That isn't any different than saying, "It doesn't matter what you do in life."

Yeah, we can thank Martin Luther for that.

So you had people of that false idealism, and they are naturally going to cause conflict.

Do you know what Jesus would say about it?  He would say, "I didn't say that! You did!"  ..."I never said it doesn't matter how you live your life.  How in Fathers name could you misquote me like that?"  "Have you know idea what I meant when I talked about eternal punishment?"  "What you said has no motivation in it for people to be good."

******'

On the flip-side of that you had capitalism coming into conflict with mental retardation caused by alcohol.  Alcohol won that.  But not before it caused WW2 in the point and fact that Germany opted for it.

But look at that statement?  It almost implies that doing a great human thing like the 18th Amendment caused WW2.  And that is just plain wrong.  You can't get into that mismatch logic and come to false conclusions that because you attempted a good thing you caused bad things.  You have to summarily dismiss that phrase, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."  Why?  Because it is always just misapplied by the malcontents, uneducated, Luddites, naysayers, jeerers of Christ carrying his cross...etc.

Fairly good diatribe.
