If I just accurately understood this for the first time it is hilarious 02 07 2024

Matthew 25:1-46 "Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.

It really implies something very sinister is going on?  As if the five women who went out at night without a lamp are one of several things?

1.  End up being wed to the woman bridegroom?

2.  End up being taken as part of a harem?

3.  The foolish women didn't even understand how a lamp works?  Thought everything simple like that should be provided to them?

4.  There is an element here of...that marrying in the dark is a foolish thing to do?

5.  There is an element of they would be foolish because their virginity could be lost?

And it is written from a opportunistic  perhaps criminal mans perspective of the kingdom of heaven?  Five virgins come to your door at night without oil for their lamps?

And perhaps it means this?  If a woman goes out at night and has not oil for her lamp she is going to have to stop somewhere and ask for oil for her lamp in the dark?  And that is a foolish thing for a virgin to do?

But I think number one is the funniest.  They end up meeting their bridegroom.  Perhaps she has a husky deep voice.  And they end up marrying her somehow?

And is there another element here?  The single woman, the virgin, wanting to be mistaken for the woman who is going to get married?  Again, defined by the parable as a foolish thing to do.

So why is it a foolish thing?  For a virgin to go out in the dark without a lamp?  Republicans would  say the more pregnant women the better!  Make it a crime for her to have an abortion, the Bible even tells how to facilitate one.  Is the Bible criminal because of it, Republicans answer it?  Republicans it implies that antiabortion is a foolish thing?  Prolife being contorted contorted to mean that a woman who is raped can't have an abortion?  Why would it dare say that about you?  Republicans, why would the Bible say that you are foolish?  I believe you are foolish too.  The Bible believes you are foolish.  A lot of us believe you are fools.

In fact I could more or less equate this with Republicans being the Antichrist.
