If you took two empty coffee cans and used a can opener to take the bottom out of one...
Then you line welded that can to the one with the bottom...
Painted it...
Would you have a nice waste basket???
I think so.
You could give it as wooden lid.
Perhaps a round piece of wood to go over your weld if it is bad...
And maybe to he same at the we base...
Perhaps even change the ratio of diameter to height to have less height...
Might to be something nice.
