Idolatry and Idle-tree 02 07 2011
Satan is very good at entering evil thoughts in idol minds.
The television set does indeed keep minds from being idle, but what is much worse is that it idles the body and therefore also destroys the mind.
Here is a symanetec play on words of a riddle, does Idolatry indeed create a Tree of Idle minds. Is this indeed the forbidden fruit. Ones who plant the seeds of idolatry or Idle Trees. No matter what God you believe in this should ring true to you. The apples being the minds picked, given, harvested and sold. God then stripping the criminals naked and casting them forth from the Garden of Eden. God loathed the worship of false idols, the television set, more than anything else.
When people are made to worship false idols who are nepotistically given roles on televsion the talent pool of a country sinks to near zero. If you don't believe this is true ask yourself when the last time you actually heard someone who can sing today?
