One should not act to try and be someone to get the kind of woman they want. One should only strive to better oneself. And make that betterment consistent with self and new self so that it is a lasting betterment of self.
Then when one wants to find the woman to marry one should look for one to marry who is indeed an equal. This would also therefore serve to maintain a betterment of self. As the one who you marry has the same ideals and philosophies as you do and reinforces those positive aspects of betterment. Ie keeps you on track of a better self. This then serves to create a whole community of better selves. And ideally this translates into better children and newer generations of selves. This indeed is the formula for making a better country and a better world. It is based on self improvement.
My nephew who is in college once told me that you should marry someone who can handle your crazies and you should also be able to handle yours.
