And so how do we end this?

They remain silent because organized crime with threaten not only them but family members if they talk?

So you have to take a 3 pronged approach, at least 3 prongs.

1.  In cases of racketeering all of their money and assets is confiscated.  No house for their wife and children.  Instead they get to go to the doors of the homeless shelter.  And guess what, no homeless center would ever want them there.  Why should their family benefit from criminal activity?  How does that dissuade women from marrying criminals?  Steal all the money of our country and give it to your wife.  And don't the rest of us say she doesn't deserve it because she is some kind of angel princess?

2.  So we are not able to execute them because very few states have the death penalty?  And the death penalty was defeated by a black man being sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit.  He was scheduled for the death penalty?  But it was found he was innocent so...that was justification to end the death penalty.  How do you scare someone into not committing crimes?  Someone of the criminal mind likely found school worse than prison?  They go to prison and just sit there silent and wait to get out?  To do what?  Nothing they will ever be able to talk about?  Are they going to learn what they should have learned in grade school and high school that all of us paid for them to learn...are they going to learn that in prison?  No.  Again likely they will sit there silent and pretend to be listening and understanding?  But if members of their family would indeed be threatened to be killed if they talked then doesn't it make absolute sense that if they are convicted the death penalty should be an option?  Prison is like nothing to them?  They like that hierarchy?  That code of silence is what they understand.  It is all they understand.  It is all they are capable off understanding.

3. Their will be a stipulation that if they are to be freed from prison they will get a bill.  A bill for their crimes.  And they must repay that bill.  And they are the ones who are going to help pay down our national debt.  And that debt passes to their children.  And any wages that they have will be garnished.  So we may not be able to execute you.  Because you have used a religious idea or false holy morality to say that is wrong?  I think you should get a bill when you leave prison.  

And perhaps if you were convicted of organized crime it can be presumed that you won't talk because of that code.  Perhaps you should never in your life be able to make money from any job that requires you to speak or communicate?  No writing a book to explain how you lived the good life of expensive, suits, cars, hotels, women...  Again you are presumed not to talk so you should not be able to make any money from talking in the United States.  And perhaps if you could have listened and talked you would not have become a criminal in the first place.

And look at the foreign drug cartels.  They are great additions to organized crime in the United States?  Why?  Because they have an alibi for remaining silent; the inability to speak English?  And what if every business that we went to that didn't speak English was thereby presumed to be following the code of Omerta, and therefore deemed to be organized crime?  I mean is there an economy going on there?  Are there different levels of our economy for high profile criminals that honest American?  If you haven't been sickened by all the news with regard to just that point, then... what can I say?

If you are deemed a member of organized crime and therefore it is known that you will not talk should you have a right to have someone else do your talking for you?  Doesn't that just facilitate your code of organized crime?  Why should we allow it?  And organized crime wouldn't want you to talk at all would they.  Because they know that you would eventually end up spilling the beans.  Again if you had a normal mind you would not have been a criminal.  So you are going to contradict yourself and change your alibis.  And eventually it will make it a lot worse for you.
