Newscasters and Theatrics 04 17 2013 Update #2

Newscasters and Theatrics 04 17 2013

I pay more attention when a newscaster is giving a presentation, such as the weather, when they make the presentation with the straight forward mannerism's that a college professor presents his lecture.

But how can a newscaster make such a presentation and then field a barb from someone who is a sports presenter?  It is like the class clown shows up and brings everything down to a different level?

And what does the presence of a dolt to?  "He tempts men not to say what they think!" ~for fear of not being one of the athletes?  And that is how the salary caps were broken in professional sports?  That dolt insulted the intelligent of true righteous intellect when they voiced news in a serious manner or voiced concern about pay being too high in professional sports?

There has been far too much of that theatrics on the news and leads to the inability to take matters seriously and therefore the occurrence of more bad news that is still not taken seriously? In other words the presenting the serious news should be done in a sobering mode, lest those who make the bad news don't get the message? And I am not going to get into the issue of television personalities knowing the nature of evil and therefore having the power of revelation to prevent it in this article.

I guess I like to think about the content and not be distracted by the theatrics?  And ask the question if the purpose of the theatrics is distracting the public to think pragmatically about our problems?

But really shouldn't news be a serious business?  Not something to take lightly about or be subjective to one side- a side that likes to be pandered to?  That is it isn't it!  This modern day audience likes to be pandered to- as if the importance of serious matters is irrelevant.

I have made the point before about the long hair and football and I think it has no business in the league.   And I don't care if your wife likes it because of the long hair.

And a respectful smile at the end of a presentation is appropriate.
