Because everyone was treated equally there was no true reward for greater personal development and achievement?
But Communism wasn't even that was it. They did not consider everyone to be equal. They considered that they would cull from those who were better and promote them... mainly in the Olympics? To prove what point? It proved nothing.
Ended up experimenting on human beings. Ended up drug doping their Olympic Candidates, even in the last Olympics of this very day and age.
Ended up that a few of the communist raked in all the money in the end when it Converted to what they deem it to be today.. Capitalism?
Per Putin 85% of the Founders of Communsim were Jewish. Again what does that make it? A Jewish response to governing a Jewish Populace.
There is zero innovation in Communism, for the exact same reason innovation and implementation of innovation is stalled to about Zero in the United States. Those who have the know how are not rewarded. Those who are doing the judging of those who have the know how and do not personally have the know how. And I don't think that concept should be blamed on a human generality.
