There are some religions whereby all you have to do to be considered holy is to state that Jesus Christ is your savior!
For example when you cause yourself to get into a bad situation, just say Christ is your savior in order to wave off the irresponsibility on your part.
Now think a little bit here. What does that amount to?
There is a great element of vanity to that isn't there!
And what is a big sin per the Bible?
To take the Lords name in Vein!
Exodus 20:7 states it fairly well.
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”
So indeed you might have entire religions, that are predicated on a sin.
In effect not a true religion, hence,....$
And it makes me wonder if they are ever going to have to back peddle really quickly on this to come into compliance with ~regs.

And if indeed blind faith is a sin, as proven above, then those who can only live a life of blind faith do indeed live a life of sin.
And buddy, the book of Exodus is Old Testament.
