So they want to cut Medicaid.
A good question is what led the people who need Medicaid down the path to need Medicaid?
Was it a Governmentally condoned addiction to Alcohol?
I always believe in getting at the root of a problem in order to solve a problem.
Did what led the person on the path to need Medicaid put great profits in your pocket?
When you get up to speak at the podium, do you declare that we need that revenue?
The other thing that comes into play here is directly matching expenses with revenues.
And if you really want to run our government like a penny-pinching business it isn't going to work. Why not? Because the expenses generated are higher than the expenses that they are matched to.
Now another way to look at this. Is that those who made all the money (revenues) didn't invest it back into our country. Why not? Because they didn't believe in our country, it was just something to squeeze revenue out of and then cry foul when you have to pay one red cent in t.
And how did they really use that revenue/wealth? To propagandize themselves as being Kings or Gods or Popes. That isn't in line with our Constitutional Democracy is it.
I mean when you make all of your wealth and then get up there at the podium like some kind of King something isn't working right in our Democracy. What allowed a person like that to be able to foster that belief system? Perhaps a religion that believes in historical Kings as Gods?
And it is a sick nation. With sick people fostered by alcoholism.

And perhaps here is the crux of it from my Catholic upbringing. If a wealthy person would say that someone needs Medicaid because they are just bad (that they weren't successful, financially) I would say that the person who said that is the bad one.
Although more and more I see I am leaning a little to the other way on the issue. But my Catholic upbringing still prevails in judgement.
