And so Jesus Christ stated, "Whatsover you do to the least of my brethren that you have done onto me."
That statement implies both judgement and retribution.
Now the Church doesn't want you to believe that those elements are present in the Catholic or Christian belief system. That to believe in Jesus Christ means nothing more than stating those words.
But judgement and retribution also imply wrath.
And the Church doesn't want you to think that there is. But indeed Jesus did exhibit wrath during his life. For example when he took a staff to those who set up business kiosks in his Church. And also when he stated sell your shirt for a sword.
But the Church wants you to believe in only the elements of passivity?
And what I am saying with this, is don't expect that you are getting a free ticket into heaven.
And perhaps you experience negative events in your life and you attribute them to something like Karma. When really, they are the wrath of Jesus Christ!
