Medical Theory 05 17 2025

I didn't see any information on it on the internet.

But I have to wonder, in an emergency, could a hair dryer be used to clot blood?

The theory is that the forced air oxygenates the bloody wound, and it clots over?

Because the blood needs air to clot?

It has to have been tried?  Has it been tried in the military?  Somebody must have tried it and there must be a very good reason why not to do it?

One would believe that hot air might be more sterile than cold air?  Perhaps a special device as above but equipped with an intake filter?  To prevent germs from being blown into the wound?

So indeed what I would be getting near to with this idea is non caulderizing caulderizing? (spelling?

And it makes you wonder, aside from those medical cyanoacrylates is there a chemical that could clot the blood and seal it up?  And there would be the danger of the clot traveling in the body to the heart or brain and causing death?  But perhaps there are parameters it could fall into whereby that won't occur?

Perhaps forced air combined with infrared light (or anther freq on the spectrum?

Do I need to add a disclaimer not to try this?
