Because you should not be required to have it, it should be government sponsored for you!
Hence we would need a national alcohol ID card. (You could still buy a little for cooking as I like to do. Fish and chicken batter and brats.) But if you are found to be under the influence in an accident and have opted not to have an alcohol ID then you can be expected to pay the full amount of damage in the accident.
This is the kind of behavior I would like to encourage. Not some corkscrew politician with every corkscrew idea there ever was. We have had enough of that!
And this idea should be slowly weaned into other insurance products and displace them.
What do I think of those in the Financial Industry? They are the equivalent of well dressed Hobo's! Humbugs! Just like the group of 5 or 6 actors from the post Confederate South who schemed to assassinate Abraham Lincoln.
