Inventions Needed Rifle scope with a range finder on it

Wouldn't it be nice if a rifle scope had a range finder built into it so that the center "Dot" or other articulating configuration was always putting itself at the appropriate range.  It would self compensate for bullet parabolic travel.  In effect where ever you put that center dot - the scope automatically adjusts it for range.

First models would likely have a button to push- adjust for range.  Or even a layered readout that says which horizontal cross hairs is appropriate to use for what is on the center dot; this type of range finder scope would have to have a feature of range finder mode "go away" whereby it deactivated after initial target acquisition and adjustment level line indicated otherwise it would be a constantly adjusting scope.
