Because of the risk of mental retardation from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is extremely high!
It is the most destructive NARCOTIC around! A Narcotic is defined as any psychoactive substance that makes you sleepy. And alcohol does indeed make you sleepy! It is psychoactive because it spikes testosterone while at the same time depriving the brain cells of oxygen.
I can hear Steven Abner already as the Devils Advocate.
And my response is, "If it didn't deprive the brain of oxygen then there would not be one single drunken driving crash or related fatality."
The whole effort of redefining terms so that they are not harmful to business needs to be buried!
